My selections from my strategy have changed during the day before kick off? Why?

Answer

This is usually because your strategy will be using 'odds' as a criteria. As odds on Betfair can change before kick-off, a selection that qualified earlier in the day may have drifted or shortened in price, meaning that it no longer meets the price criteria to qualify as a selection.

Example

• You checked your 'Over 2.5 goals strategy' selections in the morning and Manchester United v Ipswich was listed a selection.
• Just before kick-off you check again and the match is no longer showing as a selection.
• Your strategy has a criteria of 'over 2.5 odds must be equal or greater than 1.60'.
• At the start of the day the over 2.5 goal odds were 1.61 - but before kick off they had shortened to 1.58
• As a result, the match no longer qualifies as a selection as the odds are not 1.60 or above.
• Therefore, the match will no longer be listed as a selection.
